In conjunction with Viscount Organs in Italy our custom building capability has now been operating for several years and we have supplied a range of fine instruments to both church and private customers.  These instruments are known as our REGENT CLASSIC series of organs.

We are able to provide organs that can meet the exact requirements of churches where the available budget allows an instrument to be individually designed to the ideal specification for the building, as well as the liturgical demands of the worship. This is achieved by combining Viscount's 50 years experience in the design and manufacture of classical church organs with the best of British craftsmanship in building organ consoles and speaker systems. We can also design and build special speaker cabinets and pipe facades to help create the full visual appearance of a pipe organ within the building when required.

In producing a custom instrument our objective is to create a console that blends with the architectural style of the building, is visually pleasing, of the highest quality construction and above all is comfortable to play. We are able to select stops from a library of over one thousand voices that enables us to cover all styles of organ building from baroque to modern romantic. With the latest Physis physically modelled sound generation technology, we can also provide an instrument that can switch from English to Baroque to French Romantic at the touch of a button enabling all styles of music to be played with the sound palette that the composer originally intended.  Each note of every stop can be voiced and regulated independently so that everything balances perfectly in the building.

 The instruments are all housed in fine deluxe consoles and include many additional features as standard, such as ‘motorised' drawstops, wooden-based tracker-touch keyboards and a comprehensive amplification system. The quality of craftsmanship has matched our highest expectations and is the same as you would expect to find on the finest pipe organ consoles. You have full control over selection of woodwork, materials and engraving of draw stop heads and selection of keyboard styles and colours.

Unique to Viscount Physis technology is the ability to create individual ‘sound boards' for each division that exactly recreates the 3 dimensional layout of pipes found inside a real pipe organ. We can place the swell above the great, the pedal divisions to each side of the manuals and individual solo stops such as chamades can also be set out as you would find them on a pipe organ. Antiphonal divisions can be located as required with ease.

The flexibility of this sound management is such that every stop can be independently directed to any combination of speakers desired allowing the full variety of pipe layouts found in real pipe organs to be faithfully reproduced.
